I was initially send a letter of demand from MBD attorney's for an outstanding Woolworths account. I susequently called and queried beacuse I do not have a Woolworths account. I was asked to send a fax. I faxed and I emailed.
To date I still get letters, sms and phone calls from them. I have tried getting in touch with Frans Bousson who is supposed to own the company, with no luck, now they are threatening me with summons. I am at a complete loss with this bunch. I have even asked if they can please suplly me with some kind of proof that I made any purchases at Woolworths (apparently they can't). What do we do with them, it is so embarrassing and frustrating, I can't make them seem to understand. It costs me phone calls and my time. Should I send them an invoice.

Why does this story not go to CARTE BLANCE I am sure Derek Watts will be interested, do it go to Beeld tot u diens, does everybody realize that all debt was erased due to the new legislation in 2005 now I see and hear that MBD has bought over files from these company's and reopening them again this is the stuff I am investigating even if it is paid up or not this is a SCAM and this Person/s are making money out of you people and there must be a way of stopping them

I agree with you! Do you perhaps know Derek Watts as we have been contacting Carte Blanche and similar organizations for a while now... Any help will be welcome.
In the mean time we are gathering info for the big day when MBD is confronted in public.

Gee's I have never ever come across such rude people in my life as those who work at MBD Attorneys! If only they new how to speak to people firstly. I pay my account every single month and with out fail I will get at least 2 phone calls a month asking me when I will make payment. This month I have made payment like I always do and in the past week I have received 3 phone calls. These guys will do anything to add interest on what you owe! Not forgetting that they will call you at 8 on a Saturday morning.
